Role Overview
Business Analyst (6+ Years) -Mobile Application Domain Exp is a Must
Location: Kochi/Bengaluru
The BA will work closely with product, business stakeholders, UX, and engineering teamsto translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for iOS and Android platforms in an Agile delivery model.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience inmobile product development, strong stakeholder management skills, and a structured approach to requirements and backlog management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand goals, user needs, and success metrics for the mobile refresh.
- Analyze current-state mobile apps and workflows; define future-state requirements and user journeys.
- Elicit, document, and manage:
- Epics, features, and user stories
- Functional and non-functional requirements
- Acceptance criteria and Definition of Done
- Support mobile-specific requirements, including offline capability, push notifications, device features, and platform differences (iOS/Android).
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to review wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Maintain a well-groomed, prioritized product backlog and support Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews).
- Act as the primary requirements clarification point for development and QA teams during sprints.
- Support UAT planning and execution, defect triage, and business sign-off.
- Communicate scope, dependencies, risks, and changes clearly to stakeholders.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 2+ years supporting mobile application development (iOS/Android)
- Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
- Proven ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (product, UX, engineering, QA)
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile refresh or modernization programs
- Familiarity with mobile UX standards and app store constraints
- Working knowledge of APIs and mobile-backend integrations
- Tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma/Miro
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
