Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, product-oriented Business Analyst who can translate client requirements into product features, business workflows, and actionable development plans.
The ideal candidate should have strong client-facing skills, hands-on experience with CRM or e-commerce products, and the ability to own requirements from initial discovery through development, testing, and product launch.
This is a product-focused role requiring practical problem-solving, product thinking, stakeholder management, and end-to-end ownership beyond documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions to understand business problems, gather requirements, and define suitable product solutions.
- Manage client communication, stakeholder expectations, scope changes, and project priorities.
- Translate business requirements into product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and business rules.
- Define product modules, prioritize MVP features, and contribute to product roadmaps.
- Design and improve CRM functionalities, including lead management, customer profiles, customer segmentation, communication workflows, and reporting.
- Understand end-to-end e-commerce workflows, including product catalogues, cart, checkout, payments, orders, returns, and refunds.
- Define data requirements, customer attributes, and business rules for product features.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support sprint planning, requirement clarification, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and product launches.
- Gather post-launch feedback and identify opportunities for product improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4–7 years of total experience, with at least 2 years as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst working on a live product.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, customer lifecycle management, and business workflows.
- Experience building or significantly contributing to CRM, e-commerce, fintech, or marketplace products.
- Demonstrated ownership of at least one product from initial requirements through production launch.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or LeadSquared.
- Strong knowledge of requirement gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature prioritization.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Figma, Balsamiq, Miro, Lucidchart, or Confluence.
- Understanding of e-commerce payment flows, refunds, invoicing, settlements, and basic business metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proven experience in direct client interaction and stakeholder management.
Good to Have
- Basic SQL knowledge and exposure to analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Metabase.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Experience in IT services or consulting environments involving multiple client engagements.
- MBA or a relevant product management certification.
Immediate Joining Requirement
Immediate joiners ONLY. Candidates must be available to join immediately. Candidates serving a notice period or available to join at a later date will not be considered.
Important Screening Criteria
Candidates must demonstrate practical product knowledge through real project examples. Profiles focused primarily on documentation or pre-sales, without meaningful product ownership, will not be suitable.
Candidates should be prepared to discuss:
- Products they have taken from concept to production.
- CRM fundamentals and customer segmentation.
- User stories and acceptance criteria.
- End-to-end e-commerce workflows, including payments and refunds.
