Junior Business Analyst (Sustainability & Market Analysis)
Location: Kerala, India (Remote); This role is open exclusively to candidates currently residing in Kerala. Applications from other locations will not be reviewed.

About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to work on regulatory interpretation, structured problem solving, and market analysis in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
This is not a routine analyst role. Much of the work involves dealing with incomplete information, evolving frameworks, and ambiguous problem statements.
You will be expected to break down complexity and produce clear, structured outputs.
What You Will Work On
1. Regulatory & Framework Analysis
- Read and interpret government notifications, policy documents, and technical frameworks
- Extract key concepts and convert them into structured insights
- Track regulatory changes and assess implications
2. Market & Systems Analysis
- Analyze emerging markets related to energy and sustainability
- Identify patterns, risks, and structural gaps
- Support development of frameworks for market entry and scaling
3. Documentation & Structured Thinking
- Convert complex or unclear problems into well-structured documents
- Produce clear, concise written outputs that can be used for decision-making
- Support internal frameworks and external documentation
4. Data & Process Support
- Work with structured datasets and operational inputs
- Perform validation checks and ensure consistency
- Support development of traceable, audit-ready processes
What We Are Looking For
We are less focused on experience and more on how you think and communicate.
You are a good fit if you:
- Can read complex material and extract meaning without losing structure
- Are comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving information
- Think logically and can break down problems into components
- Can write clearly, precisely, and without unnecessary complexity
- Have strong attention to detail
Preferred background (not mandatory):
- Engineering, environmental studies, economics, or similar analytical fields
- 0–3 years of experience in research, consulting, or analytical roles
What This Role Is Not
- Not a pure data or coding role
- Not a presentation or marketing role
- Not a routine reporting job
This role requires independent thinking, discipline, and the ability to work through unclear problems.
