Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Research Analyst with strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry to capture key market signals, track industry trends, and align insights with strategic priorities (e.g., those similar to Roche). The role involves synthesizing complex data into actionable intelligence to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth secondary research on the global and regional pharmaceutical landscape.
- Track and analyze industry signals including:
- Pipeline developments
- Clinical trials
- Regulatory updates
- M&A and partnerships
- Monitor competitor strategies and benchmark against industry leaders such as Pfizer and Novartis.
- Align research findings with organizational strategic priorities and therapeutic focus areas.
- Develop insightful reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, medical affairs, commercial).
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in key therapeutic areas.
- Support leadership with data-driven recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in business research / market intelligence within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of:
- Drug development lifecycle
- Clinical trial phases
- Regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA, etc.)
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
