About the Role: Wingage Technologies is looking for a proactive, technically inclined Business Analyst to drive end-to-end implementation of customer engagement and communication projects. A major part of this role involves integrating customer systems with the WhatsCom platform through APIs and other integration methods, enabling communication through channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, and email, as well as campaign management and reporting. The selected candidate will own the complete project lifecycle—from requirement gathering and integration analysis to delivery, UAT, go-live, adoption, and achievement of platform consumption targets.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead requirement-gathering workshops with customer, business, and technical stakeholders.
● Understand existing customer systems, workflows, data flows, integration points, and operational processes.
● Translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, API requirements, field mappings, and acceptance criteria.
● Work closely with customer IT teams and internal product, engineering, QA, and operations teams.
● Analyse and document REST APIs, authentication requirements, request and response structures, webhooks, error scenarios, and integration dependencies.
● Coordinate API integration, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production validation.
● Drive the entire project from requirements and planning through development, UAT, go-live, and post-launch support.
● Conduct daily stand-ups, project reviews, integration discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
● Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
● Prepare UAT plans and test cases, coordinate business testing, and drive defects to closure.
● Manage requirement changes and assess their impact on scope, timelines, and integrations.
● Support customer onboarding, training, and operational enablement.
● Drive post-launch adoption and platform utilisation across customer departments.
● Track messaging volumes, active users, campaigns, integrations, and agreed consumption targets.
● Proactively identify blockers and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Required Qualifications
● 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Implementation Analyst.
● Strong experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and functional documentation.
● Good understanding of APIs, system integrations, webhooks, authentication, JSON payloads, and data mapping.
● Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, API requirements, user stories, process flows, UAT documents, and project-status reports.
● Experience coordinating technical integrations, testing, UAT, releases, and production launches.
● Ability to independently drive multiple teams and stakeholders toward project outcomes.
● Strong communication, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
● Proactive, ownership-driven approach with the ability to anticipate and resolve delivery risks.
● Fluency in Marathi and English is mandatory. Hindi proficiency is preferred.
● Must be based in Pune or willing to relocate.
Preferred Experience
● Experience with customer engagement, CPaaS, campaign management, CRM, or omnichannel communication platforms.
● Understanding of WhatsApp Business, SMS, email, templates, campaigns, webhooks, dashboards, and reporting.
● Experience using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Jira, and Confluence.
● Experience driving customer onboarding, platform adoption, messaging volumes, or consumption targets.
● Experience working on government or public-sector projects is an advantage but not mandatory.
