About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst (Credit Cards) to join our BI & Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in credit card portfolio analytics, regulatory reporting, data validation, dashboard development, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

This role involves working closely with Product, Risk, CI, Ops, Portfolio, and Technology teams, ensuring data accuracy, process improvement, and timely delivery of business insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analytics & Reporting

• Perform credit card portfolio analysis (spends, sourcing, attrition, activation, delinquency, rewards, etc.).
• Build and automate dashboards using Power BI / Tableau for business performance tracking.
• Execute monthly MIS, KPI tracking, and management reporting.
• Support regulatory submissions (RBI) & audit data validation ensuring 100% accuracy.

2. Data Engineering & Quality

• Validate data flows from DWH, Synapse, Databricks, and downstream reporting systems.
• Contribute to data migration projects (e.g., Synapse → Databricks).
• Identify data discrepancies and work with DWH teams to rectify logic issues (AIF logic, NTB/ETB, LTI, sourcing channels, etc.).

3. Business Analysis & Insights

• Generate actionable insights to support Product, Portfolio, and Risk teams.
• Perform trend analysis on spends, rewards, customer behaviour, revenue leakage, and business performance.
• Define business logic and maintain documentation/SOPs for reporting processes.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with CI, Operations, Asset, HR, Product, and Risk teams for data-related requirements.
• Deliver ad-hoc dashboards, data extracts, and business presentations for leadership.
• Lead discussions on logic changes, data enhancements, and process improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL (Synapse, Databricks, BigQuery)
• Hands-on experience in Power BI / Tableau
• Proficient in Excel and advanced analytics techniques
• Good understanding of Banking & Credit Cards domain
• (AIF logic, sourcing channels, attrition, LTI base, RBI reporting, etc.)
• Experience with data migration & validation
• Ability to manage large datasets and create automated insights
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and documentation
