Job Description – Business Acquisition Manager (Market Research Industry)
Position: Business Acquisition Manager
Industry: Market Research / Research Operations
Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Location: Delhi
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Acquisition Manager for the Market Research Industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, expanding global accounts, and driving revenue growth across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
· Generate new business opportunities in Market Research and Research Operations.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across domestic and international markets.
· Identify potential clients, market trends, and business opportunities.
· Handle end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, proposal submission, negotiation, and closure.
· Coordinate with operations and project management teams for smooth project execution.
· Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and contracts.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
· Manage key accounts and ensure long-term client retention.
· Participate in business meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
· Maintain a database of leads, prospects, and client interactions.
· Work closely with senior management for business expansion strategies.
· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery.
Required Skills
· Strong business development and sales skills
· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
· Knowledge of Market Research methodologies and operations
· Strong client relationship management skills
· Ability to handle international clients and global accounts
· Good understanding of quantitative and qualitative research projects
· Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems
· Target-oriented and self-motivated personality
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
· Experience in Market Research, Healthcare Research, BPO, or Consulting industry preferred
· Existing client network in the research industry will be an added advantage
· Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Revenue generation and target achievement
· Client acquisition and retention
· Business growth and market expansion
· Conversion ratio and sales pipeline management
· Client satisfaction and repeat business
