Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Accountant role based in Bagoda. The Business Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including managing ledgers, processing invoices, recording expenses, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting audits and compliance activities. The Business Accountant will monitor accounts payable and receivable, track inventory-related transactions, and ensure accurate documentation for tax filings. Collaboration with management, sales, and operations teams will be required to provide financial insights that support business decisions and growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning and performance tracking.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets (such as Excel), and general office productivity tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, compliance, and audit processes relevant to Indian business operations.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or product-based business, especially in pumps, sanitaryware, or related sectors, will be beneficial.
