The Financial Analytics Manager plays an integral role promoting data governance standards and driving the adoption of trusted, data-driven insights that empower business leaders to make informed decisions, support client success, and achieve sustainable business growth.%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3ELead, manage, and develop the Financial Analytics team, providing coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, and career development support.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExpand and champion Finance’s data and AI strategy in partnership with the Senior Manager – Data and AI.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOversee the Finance data domain, including data governance responsibilities, access controls, data quality standards, and maintenance of the Finance data catalog.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDirect the strategy and roadmap for Finance data products, certified reporting solutions, and analytics platforms, including Power BI and the broader Finance data infrastructure.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EServe as a liaison between Finance, IT, and cross-functional business teams to align data and reporting solutions with organizational priorities.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide analytic reports, analyses, and presentations of project and business unit financial data to multiple levels of leadership.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDefine and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards within the Finance domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance frameworks and audit requirements.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EImplement innovation and process improvement initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies, automation, and AI-driven capabilities to enhance Finance operations.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOversee development and execution of user acceptance testing plans for Finance data models, reports, and analytics solutions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELead formal and informal training programs over the Company’s financial reporting solutions for project managers, business leaders, and Finance staff.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EManage department planning, prioritization of business and information needs, staffing, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for the Financial Analytics team.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETranslate complex data and business requirements into practical analytics solutions and guide stakeholders through effective use of Finance data products.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAll other duties as assigned.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum eight (8) years of related accounting or finance experience (eleven (11) years strongly preferred).
- One year of additional credit given for CPA, MBA, or related advanced certification.
- Experience either in auditing or serving as a key audit contact.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong functional understanding of data models, data governance frameworks, and available reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data; familiarity with data warehousing and lake house concepts strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of data-driven tools and reporting solutions across a large organization strongly preferred.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple day-to-day and ongoing projects simultaneously.
- Expert in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly present complex financial and technical information to all levels of leadership strongly preferred.
- Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.
- Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
- Must be proficient in the use of basic computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
