Aid in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, and fixtures.
- Aid in the cutting, bending and running of the conduit as specified on blueprintss
- Aid in the installation, modification, and fabrication of cable tray as necessary according to specifications
- Aid in the assembly and installation of electrical equipment
- Aid in the inspection of electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and to ensure the equipment is in good operational condition
- Aid in the setup and maintenance of temporary power systems
- Aid in the installation of and maintenance of the grounding systems for all equipment and structures
- Aid in the hoisting of equipment and tools into a location via bull rigging or cranes
- Spotting on all activities
- Elevated work under 6ft or 6ft and higher
- Interpret drawings

- Hand excavation and backfill for U/G duct bank
- Install U/G duct tape raceways
- Install U/G duct tape raceways trenway
- Ground grid trenching and backfill.

- Install light fixture, field junction boxes, A/C and D/C power panel, transformers (15-45kV), MCC, UPS system, VFD, PLC, LV and MV switchgear
- Motor terminations
- Installation of heat trace cable
- Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience
- Must be able to assess through Burns and McDonnell assessment program
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, or reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, push and pull
- Ability to use repetitive hand motions and the ability to grasp and operate field tools and equipment
- Ability to climb on, in or through equipment in confined spaces and elevated work using fall protection harnesses
- Ability to work long hours with infrequent days off, night shifts, and in adverse climates
- Ability to use respirators or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
- Ability to utilize vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to lift, carry and or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in an environment with loud noises and vibrations for extended periods of time

- Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals and metrics to calculate surfaces, volumes, weights and measures
