Duties

You will analyze Class VIII logistics systems on a daily basis to ensure functionality by developing, implementing, modifying, and managing databases and ensuring data integrity.,You will maintain appropriate security environment including passwords, permissions, and disk management.,You will collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and information systems security specialists to develop definitions of needed changes or enhancements.,You will provide training, consultations and support to computer specialists, programmers, configuration management.,You will ensure rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expertise in supply programs (MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP), and comprehensive knowledge of Class VIII medical logistics, particularly the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system; 2) Technical proficiency in database management, Informix, ISQL, and operating systems like HP-UX to resolve complex issues; and 3) Strong analytical and communication skills. Education
