Duties

As a Supervisory Electro-Machinist, you will: Exercise direct supervision over Electro-Machinists Assistant Supervisors, and have supervisory oversight for Electro-Machinist Training Leaders, Electro-Machinist, and Electro-Machinist Trainees. Direct, organize and assign work to Electro-Machinists and trainees through the Assistant Supervisor. Explain work requirements to employees and reviews work in progress and completed. Set work priorities and deadlines. Determine work methods to be used by subordinates, laying out and planning work when necessary. Prepare performance appraisals; approve and disapprove leave requests; initiate recommendations for reassignments and disciplinary actions; counsel employees concerning leave regulations, conduct, productivity, and poor work performance. Assist with the development of lesson plans, provide instruction, review, and evaluate formal and on-the-job training activities work with the Training staff and the Training Assistant Supervisor.

Qualifications
