Job Summary
OPENING DETAILS:
-Monday-Friday, 2 hours per day (.25 FTE)
WORK HOURS - 12:00 - 2:00pm
LOCATION: Providencia Elementary School
SALARY RANGE: 37
Under the direction of the principal, serve as liaison between the school, home and community to provide information and assistance to limited- and non-English speaking students and parents; translate and explain a variety of school regulations, programs and communications.

Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or high school equivalency and one year of related experience.
*** MUST BE FLUENT IN ARMENIAN AND / OR RUSSIAN - ORAL AND WRITTEN***
LICENSES REQUIRED:
Valid California driver's license
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of District-administered proficiency examination and bilingual exam if application is screened through.
Must type at 30 WPM from clear copy and pass written proficiency exam
Comments and Other Information
WORKING CONDITIONS:
School office environment; travel to community agencies; may be required to attend evening meetings. Subject to exposure to communicable diseases.
