We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who can open markets, build powerful relationships, and create demand where none exists. This is not a conventional sales role. We want someone who understands people, thinks strategically, and can turn conversations into long-term partnerships.
About the Role
As a BDM at Toyo Kombucha, you will lead expansion across premium retail, HoReCa, QSRs, wellness spaces, gyms, corporate cafeterias, and emerging consumption channels.
You’ll work directly on:

Key Responsibilities🚀 Demand Creation & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across B2B channels
- Build demand in markets where kombucha and functional beverages are still emerging
- Create city-wise and segment-wise acquisition strategies
- Execute market-entry plans tailored to different consumer segments
🤝 Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Lead end-to-end business conversations from prospecting to closure
- Build long-term relationships with procurement teams, founders, and decision-makers
- Deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and partnership proposals
- Navigate complex organizational structures with confidence
📈 Sales Performance & Revenue Growth
- Maintain and manage a strong business pipeline
- Drive conversions through strategic follow-ups and relationship-building
- Monitor KPIs including revenue growth, acquisition rate, retention, and account performance
- Negotiate commercial partnerships aligned with brand positioning
📊 Market Intelligence & Brand Advocacy
- Stay updated on FMCG, wellness, and functional beverage trends
- Share market insights to improve pricing, positioning, and GTM strategy
- Represent Toyo Kombucha at trade events, expos, and networking forums
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams on consumer-centric growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Key Accounts, or Strategic Sales
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Experience in FMCG, wellness, hospitality, consulting, or premium consumer brands preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-growth environments
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercially driven with strategic thinking ability

- Experience creating demand for a new or emerging category
- Built markets from scratch
- Managed long-cycle B2B partnerships
