Hiring: Service / Senior Service Engineer – BMS (Field Role)
Locations: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad
Industry: Building Automation / HVAC / Electrical & Industrial Automation
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Service / Senior Service Engineers with hands-on expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) to handle field service, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities across client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend site breakdowns and complaint calls related to BMS systems
- Troubleshoot controllers, sensors, actuators, and communication faults
- Inspect field wiring, panel connections, and network communication
- Handle HVAC integration (AHU, FCU, chillers, pumps, ventilation systems)
- Verify communication protocols like BACnet and Modbus
- Perform preventive maintenance under AMC contracts
- Replace faulty devices and carry out calibration
- Take system backups and update controller programs when required
- Coordinate with client facility teams and OEM support
- Prepare daily service and visit reports
Field Work Responsibilities
- Visit multiple client sites as per schedule
- Inspect BMS panels and field devices
- Resolve alarms and communication failures
- Support shutdown activities when required
- Ensure minimal system downtime
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC controls
- Electrical troubleshooting skills
- Basic networking knowledge
- Ability to read control schematics
- Hands-on experience with BMS software (Honeywell / Siemens / Schneider Electric)
Reporting & Documentation
- Submit service reports after each visit
- Track pending issues and provide recommendations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in BMS field service / maintenance
- Willingness to travel across client locations
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
