In this role, you’ll safeguard Buildertrend from credit, fraud, and compliance risks, ensuring exceptional customer experiences. What You Will Do

• Assess creditworthiness and conduct detailed reviews of business financial statements during onboarding.
• Monitor transactions and adjudicate cases, following Buildertrend’s risk management policies.
• Use various tools to ensure data accuracy and perform enhanced due diligence when needed.
• Document analyses, share decisions with stakeholders, and contribute to strategic discussions with the Risk Committee.
• Optimize risk rules, refine workflows, and enhance operating procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define the next generation of risk management systems.
  
  

Who You Are And What You Need

We’re looking for someone who’s not just qualified but also thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree required. 2+ years in the payments industry and 1+ year of underwriting experience are must-haves.
• Familiarity with financial statement analysis, accounting basics, and credit underwriting.
• Proven analytical skills and a knack for refining processes.
• Able to explain nuanced issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ready to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization.
• Familiarity with payments processing, fraud, compliance, disputes, and chargebacks.
