About build3

build3 is a non-profit venture studio and accelerator. We help people turn ideas into startups that create a positive impact on mind, body, and earth. Our main program, the Build3 Impact Accelerator (biA), supports founders who want to build with purpose and align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

So far, build3 has invested in 21 startups, mentored and shared resources with 500+ startups, and just closed Cohort 6 with 80 founders. This is the application for Cohort 7.

The Role

As an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), you will join a 10-week hybrid program that includes two in-person bootcamps in Goa. During the program, you will test ideas, talk to users, build a first product (MVP), and learn how to launch and grow a startup. The best teams may be invited to continue as part of build3’s venture portfolio.

What you’ll do

• Talk to customers and define the problem you want to solve
• Build a simple product (MVP) and test it
• Try different ways to grow, price, and reach customers
• Pitch at our “Zebra Tank” and get feedback from mentors
• Work with potential co-founders from the program and build3 network

Who we’re looking for

• You have a problem area or idea you’re excited about
• You’ve shown initiative (side project, past startup, or leadership role)
• You’re comfortable with uncertainty and learning fast
• You can communicate well

Nice to have

• Background in product, tech, growth, or operations
• Interest in climate, health, education, or social impact fields

Program Fee & Support

• Stipend: None for the 10 weeks
• Program fee: As a non-profit, build3 charges a participant fee. This goes directly toward running the program (mentors, sessions, tools, learning resources, and community).
• Funding chance: At the end, selected founders may pitch for up to ₹25 lakh in funding. (Not guaranteed—based on performance.)
• Value: Beyond funding, participants receive mentorship, playbooks, and community support for the long run.

• Free to apply: No cost to view or apply. Interviews are free.
• Seat deposit: If accepted, we may ask for a small, refundable deposit to confirm your spot. Waivers are available for those who need them.
• This is not MLM or commission work. It is a real 10-week founder program with the aim of building new ventures.
• Transparency: Jobs are posted only from build3’s official domain.
