About the role

About The Role

As a Business Development and Marketing Assistant, you play a pivotal role in a growing, Sydney-based Australian real estate company’s sales, marketing and admin operations. You will be largely responsible for creating, running and optimising Facebook Ads, and engaging with sales leads and prospects over the phone. You will be accountable to organise and manage schedules, and calendars for the Sales Agents on the client side. Key Responsibilities

Property Listings Management

  • Create and update new property listings on platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo.
  • Ensure listings are accurate, compelling, and optimised for visibility and bookings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary property information and photos.

Client Onboarding & Coordination

  • Manage email communication and scheduling for onboarding new property owners or hosts.
  • Prepare property projections and information packs for prospective clients.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure smooth setup and handover of new properties.

Marketing & Content Creation

  • Draft and design house manuals for guests using Canva or similar tools.
  • Assist with Instagram management, including content planning, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Create and send out regular newsletter emails to clients and guests.
  • Support visual content creation by designing templates, graphics, and promotional materials.

Other Responsibilities

  • Make necessary process suggestions and improvements which can help the team.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform other related tasks and duties that may be assigned by the client later on.

About You

  • 2 years of experience in a marketing, business development, or client-facing support role.
  • Familiarity with short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo is highly preferred.
  • Experience with graphic design tools like Canva and basic visual content creation.
  • Comfortable using email tools for newsletter creation and scheduling tools for social media.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Organised, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Creative and resourceful, with a good eye for design and messaging.
