We have an excellent opportunity for a Web Development Coordinator to secure a position within our web development team. You will be utilising the very latest technology and be involved in the complete lifecycle of projects. The successful candidate will work with our design and development team to build and maintain a variety of mobile responsive websites using the Wordpress CMS. You should have a passion for the industry and a strong desire to grow and develop your skills. The position requires an individual that will not shy away from contributing new ideas and opinions who works well within a strong team of thinkers, designers and developers. The successful candidate will have an ability to meet deadlines and be good at problem solving with a strong eye for detail whilst having a portfolio that's brimming with ideas and creative flair. Mandatory skills: Excellent client relationship skills, including managing expectations Proactive approach to project management Excellent time management Positive attitude to problem solving Good telephone/video call manner Good email etiquette Willingness to learn new skills Experience working with WordPress CMS or the desire to quickly learn Programming Skills: HTML, CSS Desirable skills: Programming Skills: JavaScript, PHP, JQuery or Bootstrap (Visual Composer or Elementor in Wordpress) Experience with CSS media queries Capable of working with web designs provided in Figma Good understanding of SEO A good understanding of web design principles Confident in providing WordPress CMS training Confident working on Mac Key duties and responsibilities include: Keeping clients updated as their project progresses through the development cycle Content population into WordPress SEO Application onto new pages Knowledge of 301 redirect processes Adding products to websites using reference materials Ensuring our websites comply with the latest best practices specified by Google Proactively suggesting improvements to client websites Testing new development work thoroughly Potentially managing website hosting settings and backups
