Ward Support / Assistant Nurse / Health Aid / Care Assistant – Kuwait Hospital
Kuwait Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate Ward Support/ Assistant Nurses/Health Aid/Care Assistant to join its healthcare team in Kuwait. This role involves supporting nursing staff in delivering quality patient care, maintaining ward operations, and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients. The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with routine patient care and daily ward activities.
- Support patients with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and comfort needs.
- Monitor patients and promptly report any changes in condition to supervising nurses.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, beds, and ward areas.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and supplies.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting as required.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Assistant Nurse: General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) with Prometric Exam Required.
- Ward Support: General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) (No Prometric Exam Required).
- Care Assistant: General Nursing (GNM) (No Prometric Exam Required).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Valid Nursing Registration (where applicable).
- Good Standing Certificate (where applicable).
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
