Quality Engineer

Your tasks

• Ensure customer satisfaction as well as internal and external process and product quality
• Reduce quality-related losses (internal and external failure costs, scrap costs...) using analysis of failure parts and initiating shutdown measures
• Create of predefined quality documents (for example, 8D reports, PDCA documentation, SAP quality notifications, product history, 4-field sheet, assembly sampling, quality round logs)
• Cause analysis based on the Brose Problem Management Process (naming, moderation and coordination of the problem-solving team), resulting in a technical assessment of the acceptance or non-acceptance by the customer
• Make decisions independently on whether the charged costs are justified on the basis of the customer complaint and objection and, if necessary, initiation of the escalation process
  
  

Your Profile

• Technical university degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality department
• Knowledge of the SAP/QM module including the interfaces and SAP/BW
• Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 5Why, Ishikawa...)
• Fluent English language skills
