6- 9 Yeras PostgreSQL development

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in database development, ETL, and enterprise data integration projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SSIS and SQL-based data transformation pipelines.
  • Strong experience in PostgreSQL development, performance tuning, query optimization, stored procedures/functions, and database administration concepts.
  • Experience in file management systems/processes, including file ingestion, validation, encryption, movement, archival, and reconciliation.
  • Exposure to or experience with AWS file management/storage services and cloud-native file handling approaches.
  • Good understanding of ETL architecture, batch processing, scheduling, dependency handling, and exception management.
  • Experience in designing and integrating APIs for data exchange and workflow orchestration.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL scripting, data analysis, and troubleshooting data-related issues.
  • Experience working with job scheduling and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and working within a cross-functional delivery team.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, along with a collaborative teamwork ethic.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Experience with API testing tools and monitoring utilities.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS-based file management solutions for secure file transfer, storage, ingestion, and archival.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Transfer Family, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience in building automated, scalable, and secure file processing workflows in AWS environments.

Shift Timings: US EST Shift (1 pm to 10 pm)
