About the role

The British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) is the leading specialist medical society in the UK dedicated to rheumatology. Founded in 1984, it was established to unite experts in the care of patients with rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders. The society serves as a critical resource for education, research, and advocacy in its field, bringing together a range of professionals including rheumatologists, nurses, allied health practitioners, and academics. Our mission is to improve patient care through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based policy. We champion integrity, inclusivity, and continuous professional development. By supporting high-quality clinical education, research initiatives, and effective lobbying, we help shape a future where every patient receives the best possible care. Our collaborative spirit ensures that the voices of patients, carers, and professionals are always heard. As the Membership Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our membership base. This includes developing and implementing strategies to attract new members, retain existing members, and enhance the overall member experience. You will work closely with the marketing and communications team to promote the benefits of BSR membership and engage our community. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the membership database, processing applications, and providing excellent customer service to our members.
