GIS and Mapping Specialist

British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is looking for an exceptional GIS and Mapping Specialist to join our Mapping and Geographic Information Centre (MAGIC) team. BAS delivers and enables world-leading interdisciplinary research in the Polar Regions. You'll be joining our Mapping and Geographic Information Centre (MAGIC), BAS's geospatial team with expertise in GIS, cartography, geomatics, software development and earth observation. You'll help us to deliver our MAGIC Helpdesk, providing geospatial support services to BAS colleagues, and ensure several of our flagship topographic maps are kept up to date. Within the role, there will be an opportunity to develop skills in GIS and cartography, and gain familiarity with wider polar geospatial projects.
