Role Description The Brine / Pickle Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The role involves preparing and monitoring brine solutions, ensuring proper mixing, salinity, and acidity according to established recipes and quality standards. The operator will handle raw ingredients, wash and sort produce, load and unload pickle batches, and oversee fermentation and preservation processes. Daily tasks include maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, operating equipment related to brine and pickle production, and recording production data such as batch details, quantities, and quality checks. The role also includes coordinating with the production team, reporting any process or equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement in product consistency and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in food production, food processing, or similar operational roles, preferably in pickles or preserved foods.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene standards, and handling of ingredients in a production environment.
- Ability to measure, mix, and monitor brine solutions, including salt levels, acidity, and fermentation timelines.
- Comfort with operating and cleaning production equipment and following standard operating procedures.
- Attention to detail and capability to maintain accurate records of batches, ingredients, and quality checks.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a factory or kitchen setting.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; prior experience in food manufacturing or hospitality production is an advantage.
