<strong>Duties</strong><br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to each child's needs using principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)</li>
<li>Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence and confidence</li>
<li>Collect and record data on behavior patterns, skill acquisition, and progress to inform treatment plans</li>
<li>Support children during therapy sessions by encouraging participation and reinforcing positive behaviors</li>
<li>Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and modify individualized care plans and behavior management strategies</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records and progress notes</li>
<li>Foster a safe, engaging environment that promotes learning, socialization, and emotional well-being</li>

<strong>Requirements</strong><br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or working with children is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential</li>
<li>Strong interest in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)</li>
<li>Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health initiatives effectively</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, families, and team members</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a clinical environment that emphasizes patient care and behavior management techniques</li>
<li>Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA is advantageous</li>
<li>Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude to support children's growth and development throughout the program</li>
