SAP MM Functional Lead

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced SAP MM Functional Lead to oversee the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Materials Management processes. This role involves leading end-to-end MM implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and IT, and delivering scalable solutions in S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership & Process Design

• Lead complete SAP MM design, configuration, and solution delivery across procurement and inventory processes.
• Conduct business workshops with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable S/4HANA MM solutions.
• Create functional design documents, configuration specs, and test scripts.

Procurement & Inventory Management

Configure and support:

• Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO)
• Release strategies
• Source determination, info records, vendor management, source lists
• Quotation & RFQ processes
• Inventory management (GR, GI, transfer posting, cycle counting)
• Material valuation & account determination
• Subcontracting, consignment, Stock Transport Orders (STO)

SAP Integration

• Collaborate with FI/CO on LIV, valuation, GR/IR clearing
• Integrate with SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM
• Work with development teams for enhancements, BADIs, and cross-functional interfaces

Project Execution & Support

• Lead UAT cycles, defect management & cutover activities
• Manage go-live readiness and provide hypercare support
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM production issues
• Ensure data accuracy for material master, vendor master, and purchasing data

 Team Leadership

• Mentor junior analysts and offshore teams
• Support process governance and best practices
• Prepare documentation, SOPs, training materials, and end-user guides

 Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP MM functional experience
• Strong hands-on S/4HANA procurement & inventory management expertise
• Proven configuration experience in purchasing, material master, IM, and account determination
• Experience with subcontracting, consignment, and STO processes
• Strong integration knowledge with FI/CO, SD, PP, QM, and EWM
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to lead workshops, manage deliverables, and support cross-functional teams

 Preferred Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA Fiori apps (Purchasing, Inventory, Vendor Management)
• Knowledge of Ariba, SAP VIM, or Central Procurement
• Experience in EWM/WM logistics operations
• SAP certification in MM or S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement
