Role Description – Social Internship (PAN India)
The Bridhaan Social Internship is a dynamic, full-time opportunity open to individuals across India. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in social impact initiatives while allowing interns to contribute meaningfully from their respective locations.
Interns will actively participate in planning, executing, and managing various social projects, both online and offline. The role offers exposure to multiple functional domains, enabling interns to develop practical skills while working closely with communities, stakeholders, and organizational teams.
Key Roles & Domains
Interns can contribute across one or more of the following areas:
- Legal & Documentation – Assisting with compliance, drafting documents, and maintaining records
- Social Media Management – Handling online presence, campaigns, and engagement strategies
- Recruitment – Identifying and onboarding volunteers and team members
- Volunteer Management – Coordinating, guiding, and maintaining volunteer networks
- Offline Leadership Roles – Leading and managing on-ground activities and local initiatives
- Media & Design – Creating visual content, graphics, and branding materials
- Video Editing – Producing impactful video content for campaigns and awareness
- Content Creation – Writing articles, posts, and campaign materials
- Public Speaking & Representation – Representing the organization in events, sessions, and outreach programs
- Finance & Fundraising – Supporting fundraising campaigns and managing financial documentation
- Government Relations – Assisting in liaison work with government bodies and understanding policies
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership ability and willingness to take initiative
- Interest in social impact and community development
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams
- Basic skills relevant to chosen domain (media, writing, management, etc.)
- Adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving mindset
- Prior volunteer or social work experience is an advantage but not mandatory
