About the role
BILT is seeking a Human Resources and Compliance Coordinator to manage day-to-day HR operations, with a primary focus on employee onboarding, compliance tracking, and workforce documentation.
This is a hands-on, detail-focused role responsible for ensuring all employees meet required training, credentialing, and documentation standards prior to working. The position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with DDS, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee onboarding from offer through first shift
Ensure completion of all required documentation, including I-9, background checks, and credential verification
- Track and maintain employee compliance requirements (trainings, certifications, licenses)
- Monitor expiration dates and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Maintain accurate employee records across systems (Paychex, training platforms, internal trackers)
- Reconcile employee data across payroll, training, and scheduling systems
- Support audit readiness and maintain organized, up-to-date compliance records
- Partner with scheduling team to ensure only compliant staff are assigned shifts
- Serve as point of contact for HR-related questions
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, administration, or compliance-related work
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with HR, payroll, or training systems preferred (e.g., Paychex, Relias)
- Experience in healthcare, human services, or nonprofit environments preferred
