As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our backend architecture. Leveraging your expertise in Node.js and Python, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You’ll also be instrumental in making key architectural decisions, ensuring our systems are optimized for both performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems using Node.js and Python.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications.
- Oversee data modeling and database management for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with DevOps to manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
- Contribute to strategic architectural decisions and product roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a backend developer, with strong expertise in Node.js and Python.
- Proficiency in developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data structures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of security best practices for backend systems.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead by example.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
