As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our backend architecture. Leveraging your expertise in Node.js and Python, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You’ll also be instrumental in making key architectural decisions, ensuring our systems are optimized for both performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain backend systems using Node.js and Python.
2. Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications.
3. Oversee data modeling and database management for efficient data storage and retrieval.
4. Collaborate with DevOps to manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure.
5. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish best practices.
6. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
7. Contribute to strategic architectural decisions and product roadmaps.
   
   

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience as a backend developer, with strong expertise in Node.js and Python.
3. Proficiency in developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
4. Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data structures.
5. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment pipelines.
6. Knowledge of security best practices for backend systems.
7. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead by example.
9. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
