- Stay connected with students via phone, email, in-person meetings, and more
- Keep student records updated and organized in college systems
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
- Share info on programs, financial aid, scholarships, and next steps
- Follow up with prospective students and leads to keep them moving forward
- Represent the college at community events, high schools, and outreach activities across the Bear River Region
- Help plan and run events, tours, and presentations (including large student groups)
- Jump in where needed—this is a team-focused, hands-on role
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required; postsecondary education related to advising is a plus
- Experience in recruiting, customer service, or a related field preferred
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Warm, friendly, and energetic
- A natural people-person with strong communication skills
- Organized and able to manage a fast-paced workload
- Comfortable presenting to groups and engaging with the public
- A great listener who values diverse perspectives
- Tech-savvy (especially Microsoft Office and web-based tools)
- A team player with a positive, “let’s make it happen” attitude
- Passionate about helping others reach their goals
A Few Things to Know
- This role is in-person and involves daily interaction with students, faculty, and staff
- Travel within Cache, Box Elder, and Rich counties for outreach and events
- Expect a dynamic schedule—no two days are exactly the same
If you’re ready to support students, build connections in the community, and be part of a mission-driven team, we’d love to hear from you.
