We are looking for full stack engineers who love building products end to end, care about quality, and think deeply about how systems fit together. You will work on software that runs Bren’s core operations from project planning to customer experience, and You will help define how technology can reshape one of the largest and most complex industries. You will be part of a small, high impact team that is empowered to make bold decisions and experiment with modern tools, AI, and automation. In this role, you will:
• Build end-to-end applications that power everything from internal operations to customer experiences, spanning design, construction, sales, and living.
• Design clean, intuitive, and performant systems that scale across Bren’s growing business.
• Collaborate directly with internal teams such as architects, engineers, sales, and operations to map workflows into software.
• Prototype and ship feature quickly, with a bias for simplicity and iteration.
• Integrate AI and data analytics to automate decision making and improve operational visibility.
• Own what you build from system design to deployment, maintenance, and optimization.
Your background looks something like:
• 1 to 3 years of experience in full stack software development or equivalent experience building and shipping complex products.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and system design. •
Comfort with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
• Curiosity about AI, data driven systems, or IoT. You don’t need prior experience, just a willingness to learn and experiment.
• A maker’s mindset: you like solving problems, thinking in systems, and making things real. Nice to have • Experience with FastAPI or Django at the backend.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Next.js on the frontend.
• Exposure to machine learning pipelines or data engineering concepts.
• Strong product sense and the ability to think about user experience and business outcomes.
