Role Description
The Breakfast Chef at Eleven Bakehouse will be responsible for preparing a wide range of breakfast items with a focus on quality, taste, and presentation. Daily tasks include planning breakfast menus, sourcing and preparing ingredients, ensuring kitchen hygiene, and maintaining high standards of food safety. The role involves collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and experimenting with creative menu ideas. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Expertise in preparing high-quality breakfast items, including pastries, baked goods, and hot breakfast dishes
- Strong understanding of food preparation, ingredient sourcing, and portion control
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene practices, and food safety standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a busy kitchen environment
- Creativity in developing new breakfast recipes and presentation styles
- Prior experience as a breakfast chef or in a similar role is preferred
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications are an advantage
