**Job Description:**

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Service Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our service department. You will assist in managing service personnel, customer service efforts, and operational workflows to meet or exceed our quality standards. Your proactive and customer-focused approach will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding service experiences.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily operations of the service department.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of service technicians and staff to achieve performance goals.
- Facilitate customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Coordinate service schedules and appointments, optimizing department efficiency.
- Monitor service processes and implement improvements to increase productivity and quality.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to support service operations.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations and company policies are strictly adhered to.
- Assist in preparing reports on service activities and departmental performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and integrated service delivery.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in a service management or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to the service industry.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional industry-specific certifications are a plus.
