The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician is directly responsible for providing patient treatment utilizing TMS treatment modality. Primary responsibility is to administer and manage in-office specific TMS clinical services to our patients under the direction of our treating psychiatrist. This position regularly interacts with patients, and complete additional office administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current and valid TMS Certification preferred
- Patient Care experience
- An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but candidates with patient care experience will be strongly considered.
- Up to date CPR certification required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
Provides a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions
Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment
Maintains patient confidentiality
Communicates effectively with staff and Psychiatrists
Record session notes, track insurance authorizations, and schedule patient visits using EMR and scheduling software.
Office administrative tasks such as managing leads, reporting statistical activity to center manager, scheduling appointments, collecting copays, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA
