The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for creating a welcoming and healing environment by providing quality, sufficient and appropriate clinical services and maintaining high professional standards.

As a Dispensing Nurse with BCCS, you will:

• Are primarily involved in dispensing methadone, a medication long known for its effectiveness in treating opiate addiction.
• Assists with Intake process
• Participates in treatment planning meetings.
• Follows-up on all medical referrals and records actions
• Facilitates detox entry with proper referral

Requirements

Qualifications for this position are:

• Currently licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware.

Schedule:

• Minimal Requirement: 2 Saturdays per month from 5:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
• Additional hours are available every day during dispensing time at both Milford and Georgetown sites, if the candidate is interested from 5:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Pay:

• LPN: Starting at $30/hour.
• RN: Starting at $40/hour.
