We are looking for a Branding Manager to lead day-to-day brand voice and content strategy for The Tribe Concepts. You will own the content calendar across Instagram and other social platforms, write briefs for the creative team, lead creative direction on shoots, and ensure every piece of content — paid or organic, founder-led or community-led — carries the Tribe voice. You will work directly with the Head of Brand, Marketing & NPD and the founder.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the monthly content calendar across Instagram — reels, carousels, stories, founder content, UGC, and the Field Notes editorial series.
- Write detailed creative briefs for the in-house and freelance creative team (editors, designers, photographers, videographers).
- Lead creative direction on shoots: concept, mood, references, and final deliverable quality.
- Maintain brand voice consistency across all channels and copy.
- Coordinate founder content: pre-shoot prep, on-set direction, and post-shoot polish.
- Brief influencer collaborations to ensure alignment with brand voice and positioning.
- Brief paid performance creative for Meta and other channels in partnership with the performance team.
- Track content performance: saves, shares, engagement quality, and follower growth. Bring weekly insights and learnings.
- Curate the brand mood board, image library, and design references.
- Lead the content campaign for major brand moments — packaging launches, hero product launches, brand collaborations.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years in brand or content roles — ideally at a D2C beauty, wellness, food, or lifestyle brand.
- Excellent writing skills in English. Portfolio of campaigns or content series you have personally led.
- Strong visual taste and the ability to articulate creative judgment.
- Experience running a content calendar for an Instagram handle of 100K+ followers.
- Comfortable working with editors, designers, photographers, and influencers.
- Bangalore-based or willing to relocate. Full-time on-site.
Nice to have
- Experience in Indian beauty, wellness, or Ayurveda categories.
- Background in a brand that executed a positioning shift, rebrand, or major packaging launch.
- Light hands-on editing skills (story or reel cuts).
- Familiarity with AI creative tools (Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT) for creative ideation.
- Working understanding of paid creative principles and performance content.
