Life & Half is a strategy-led creative agency out to build brand culture — not just brand content. We work with some of India's most recognisable consumer brands, like UNO India, District, Ferns N Petals, Hyatt hotels, Coffee Island, Vip Shaadi and others who care deeply about culture, craft, and getting it right.
We're looking for someone who can walk into a client room and hold the conversation strategically — not just deliver updates, but shape how a brand thinks. Someone whose instinct for culture is sharp, whose presence clients trust, and who genuinely enjoys nurturing the relationship as much as the work. We're looking for someone who is equal parts strategist and relationship builder. You'll own key client accounts end to end — from planning, ops to delivery — and lead a team of five account managers doing the same. You'll be the person clients trust to think for them, not just execute for them.
This is not a servicing role. It's a thinking role that happens to sit closest to the client.

What you'll actually do
Strategy & brand capital
- Own the strategy and narrative for key accounts. Build annual and quarterly brand plans to keep the brands sharply on-culture. For this you will have to be equally obsessed with internet, social media and creator culture.
- Lead brand strategy on key accounts — bring sharp cultural and consumer thinking into every piece of work
- Build sharp briefs that build strong insights for creative direction.
- You think in brand, not just deliverables. You will often be presenting to senior management and you are comfortable holding ground - with directions rooted in sharp strategy - with room to pivot fast.
- You will be responsible for complete projects management, SOP setup, daily workflow management - ensuring timely and error-free deliveries.
- Along with managing client experience you will also be responsible for the brand's performance through research insights driven intel, developing marketing strategies, analytics, managing content creation and creative team work flow.
- Periodic review of brand's performance and sourcing consumer insights
- Drive extensive research - consumer studies, primary surveys, online research, competition scan to drive intel on brands to clients and creative team.
- Be up to date on latest developments in social media platforms, retail media and content marketing.
- Have strong analytical skills, deeply understand social media analytics and have decent knowledge of using microsoft excel
Excellent client nurturing
- There are historic agency-client partnership lore which have led to iconic brand narratives - you will be building the same culture capital for your clients.
- Own client relationships end-to-end — from brief to delivery to the conversations that happen in between
- Be the primary point of contact for marquee clients; they should never feel the need to escalate
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers — set the standard, build the culture, raise the bar
- Collaborate closely with the founder on account health, creative direction, and strategic pivots
- Represent L&H in client meetings with the confidence and clarity of someone who owns the room
- Run client relationships independently — you won't need to loop in the founder for every call.
Team nurturing and internal intel:
- You will build strong ops and SOPs for different projects - from social media to branding to strategy.
- Lead your team of 4-6 Account Managers into timely work delivery, while also shaping their knack for culture.
- Build SOPs for centralising company intel - from topical calendars, creator outreach to client happiness
Who you are
- About 3 years in — agency, brand strategy, or planning background preferred
- Strategically sharp: you can read a brand brief and see what others miss
- Naturally warm and excellent in conversation — clients feel held, not managed
- Culturally fluent: you understand what's moving on the internet right now and why it matters to brands
- Comfortable leading people, natural leadership quality
- You write and speak with clarity — no jargon, no fluff
