We are hiring a Brand Planner to work with a leading advertising agency in Mumbai!
Job Title: Brand Planner
Role Overview
We’re looking for a brand-first planner who believes in the power of big ideas and long-term brand building. This is not a digital/social strategist role—we need someone grounded in mainline (TV, print, OOH) thinking, who can extend ideas seamlessly into digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand & Communication Strategy - Develop brand positioning, architecture, and communication territories
- Create big campaign ideas that work across TV, print, OOH, and beyond
- Define tone, voice, and brand narrative
- Creative Leadership - Write sharp, inspiring creative briefs rooted in human insight
- Partner with creative teams on big campaign thinking, not just executions
- Evaluate work on strength of idea, not format
- Consumer & Cultural Insight - Uncover deep human truths (beyond dashboards and metrics)
- Translate cultural understanding into brand opportunity spaces
- Integrated Thinking (ATL → Digital) Ensure ideas stretch naturally into digital, without becoming platform-led
- Guide how a brand idea lives across touchpoints, rather than fragmenting it
- Client Partnership - Lead strategic conversations with clients
- Present clearly articulated brand thinking and campaign rationale
Required Experience
- 3–6 years in account planning / brand strategy
- Strong experience in mainline advertising (TV, print, OOH)
- Experience working in integrated agencies such as Ogilvy, Lowe Lintas, DDB Mudra Group, or similar
- Demonstrated work on brand campaigns (not just digital or content pieces)
