Role Description
This is a 0→1 brand-building role. You'll shape how Novokind speaks, looks, and shows up, from product naming and packaging copy to campaign concepts and creator briefs. If you think in narratives and lead with strategy, this is yours.
This full-time hybrid role of Brand Strategist is based in Mumbai. As a Brand Strategist, you will lead the development, implementation, and management of brand strategies, ensuring alignment with Novokind’s values and objectives. Responsibilities include creating cohesive branding initiatives, managing brand development projects, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to elevate the brand presence. Strong communication and collaboration are essential to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll own
- Build product positioning and brand narratives for Novokind's ranges
- Translate formulation and NPD insights into clear, compelling consumer-facing messaging
- Develop product names, taglines, packaging copy, website copy, and launch messaging
- Shape the brand's tone, storytelling framework, and communication system
- Lead content and creative strategy across social, campaigns, and launches
- Ideate content hooks, campaign concepts, and creator messaging
- Brief and collaborate with freelance designers and creative partners
- Ensure consistency across packaging, website, ads, social, and product communication
- Bring consumer insights, cultural trends, and fresh strategic thinking into the brand
What we're looking for
- 2–4 years in brand strategy, brand management, or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of modern consumer brands, storytelling, aesthetics, and culture
- Exceptional execution - you don't just think well, you ship well
- Ability to hold brand and consumer truth simultaneously - strategic and empathetic
- Cultural fluency - you understand how people feel, not just what they buy
- Degree or background from MICA, media studies, communications, or psychology is a strong plus
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment with high ownership
