Brand Strategist (Contract) | Navaan
Navaan is a global founder solutions firm headquartered in India and the United States, helping brands expand across international markets. We work with clients across North America, EMEA, and APAC, and are rapidly growing into new regions.
We are looking for a Brand Strategist who thinks in narratives, moves fast, and owns outcomes. This is a contract role for someone who does not need a playbook handed to them. You will write it.
What you will do
- Develop and execute brand and content strategies across LinkedIn, Substack, X (Twitter), TikTok, and Meta
- Define and maintain Client's brand voice and positioning across global markets
- Build messaging frameworks and content pillars tailored to executive founders and decision-makers
- Own the editorial calendar end to end, from ideation and production through to scheduling and performance review
- Analyse channel performance and iterate based on data
- Collaborate with the Navaan team on campaigns, launches, and client storytelling as needed
- Client conversations would be a key part of this role
What we are looking for
- 2 to 5 years of experience in brand strategy, content strategy, or social media (agency or in-house)
- A strong portfolio showing work across at least 3 of the 5 channels above
- High ownership mindset: you follow through without hand-holding and take accountability for results
- Strong written communication, you can write a LinkedIn post and a positioning deck with equal confidence
- Comfort working across time zones with global context (India, US, and EMEA preferred)
- Understanding of B2B audiences, founder-led brands, or professional services is a strong plus
Nice to have
- Experience ghostwriting for executives or building personal brands
- Newsletter growth experience (Substack)
- Short-form video content (TikTok or Reels)
- Cross-market brand experience
