Job details:
The Role
We're looking for a Brand Storyteller who can write for the landing pages of the Cuemath website. Someone who thinks beyond just writing. Someone who edits sharply, researches deeply, and understands how a landing page shapes a parent's decision to trust us with their child's learning.
You'll join our Brand content team and work closely with designers, devs, and product folks to build pages that get discovered, hold attention, and convert.
At Cuemath, website content sits at the intersection of brand, SEO, and product. You'll own the full lifecycle, from researching parent intent and what competitors are saying to writing fold by fold, optimising for search and LLMs, and iterating on performance.
What makes this role special
- Your work reaches millions: Parents in 80+ countries read what you write, often at the moment they're deciding to trust us with their child.
- You own the page, end to end: Research, write, ship, track how your page performs on traffic, engagement, and conversions, and refine content based on what you see.
- You shape how Cuemath sounds online: Every page you write becomes how parents and AI tools describe us, so write for the way a parent reads and to be discovered through Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews.
- You think in words and visuals: You own the thinking around visuals for storytelling – which video, illustration, or element tells the story better than words can.
- You set the bar for AI-era writing: We use AI daily, and we're building a team that knows how to use it without sounding like everyone else. Catching the nuances and writing a version that sounds like Cuemath and actually lands with a parent is the human part of the job.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in any field, with 1–2 years of professional writing experience. Backgrounds like English, Journalism, Communications, Psychology, Education, or teaching all work.
- Writing craft: Clear, warm, and specific. You can take a complex idea and break it into something a reader can actually understand. Turn a research finding, a product feature, or a parent's worry into a sentence that lands.
- Editorial judgement: You know what to cut, what's missing, and why a sentence works.
- Research instincts: You can pull from parent reviews, competitor pages, product briefs, and analytics, and turn that into clear copy.
- Fold-by-fold thinking: You write for the scroll, not just the page. You can adapt your voice across a hero, an FAQ, and a brand asset brief.
- SEO awareness: You understand how pages rank and how keywords fit into copy without breaking it.
- Performance mindset: You watch how users interact with the pages, track performance, and revamp when the numbers tell you to.
Good to have
- Familiarity with AEO and GEO.
- Comfort with Mixpanel, Clarity.
- Experience writing for education, parenting, or D2C brands.
