1) Brand Communication & Storytelling

Own and help shape Sorano’s brand narrative, tone, and communication across all consumer-facing channels.

Translate the brand’s food, bar, design, mood, and experience into strong, consistent messaging.
Ensure the brand is represented with clarity, taste, and consistency across Instagram, PR notes, event invites, guest communication, and marketing material.

Work with founders and agency partners to ensure Sorano is positioned as a desirable, premium restaurant and bar destination.

2) Marketing Calendar Planning & Execution

Build and manage Sorano’s monthly and quarterly marketing calendar.

Plan campaigns around launches, menu changes, bar programs, collaborations, festive moments, city occasions, and key business periods.
Ensure the calendar is executed on time through proper follow-up with internal teams and agency partners.

Maintain a strong rhythm of brand activity and visibility rather than reactive, last-minute marketing.

3) PR, Media & Influencer Management

Coordinate closely with PR agencies to drive relevant and high-quality coverage for the brand.
Build and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, tastemakers, creators, concierges, and hospitality connectors.

Curate the right influencer and creator visits in line with Sorano’s positioning.

Avoid random or low-quality creator clutter and focus on relevance, image, and long-term value.
Support tastemaker dinners, media previews, hosted tables, and selective brand-led visibility moments.

4) Events, Hosted Experiences & Brand Partnerships
Conceptualise and execute events and collaborations that strengthen Sorano’s positioning and city relevance.

Develop ideas such as tasting tables, cocktail evenings, guest shifts, cultural collaborations, hosted dinners, brand tie-ups, and premium social gatherings.

Coordinate planning, communication, partner management, guest lists, and execution for such events.

Build partnerships with relevant luxury, lifestyle, beverage, fashion, and design-led brands where appropriate.

Ensure all events feel curated, polished, and brand-right.

5) Agency Management & Creative Coordination
Manage day-to-day coordination with social media agencies, PR agencies, photographers, videographers, designers, and other creative partners.

Write clear briefs and ensure all external partners understand the brand tone, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Review captions, content calendars, campaign plans, event communication, visual assets, and creator suggestions before they go live.

Push agencies toward stronger output, sharper thinking, and more premium execution.

6) Social Media Direction & Content Quality

Oversee the direction of Sorano’s digital presence in coordination with the social media team or agency.
Ensure content reflects the right mix of food, drinks, mood, atmosphere, people, events, and brand character.

Maintain a premium and consistent visual and verbal identity across digital touchpoints.

Ensure the brand does not become generic, repetitive, or overly promotional in its content.

7) Community Building & Guest Network Development

Help build a strong network of repeat guests, brand advocates, tastemakers, and relevant social connectors.

Support the creation of a loyal Sorano community through hosted moments, regular engagement, and relationship-building.

Think beyond one-time visibility and contribute to making Sorano a brand people want to return to, bring others to, and talk about.


8) Market Intelligence

Track competing restaurants, bars, and lifestyle venues across Mumbai, especially Bandra, BKC, Lower Parel, and South Mumbai.

Monitor launches, campaigns, events, collaborations, PR activity, and social media trends within the premium hospitality space.
Bring practical ideas and observations to keep Sorano current, competitive, and culturally relevant

9) On-Ground Brand Execution

Ensure brand and marketing plans translate properly on-ground through event setup, guest experience, and communication details.
Coordinate with operations to ensure campaigns and events are executed smoothly.
