Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Gurugram, allowing some flexibility for remote work. The Brand Partnerships Specialist will identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with key brand partners. The role involves engaging in high-level communication to pitch potential partnerships, negotiating agreements, and monitoring partnership performance. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with the internal team to align partnership goals with business objectives.

Someone who understands the digital, media, and e-commerce ecosystem—and has experience working with or within marketing agencies and partnership ecosystems to drive real business outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Drive B2B collaborations with D2C and e-commerce brands
- Build partnerships across brands, marketing agencies, and media networks
- Identify, pitch, and close strategic deals
- Bring revenue opportunities into MarkedOcean
- Leverage agency relationships to unlock scalable partnership pipelines
Who you are:
- Experience in brand partnerships / business development / alliances
- Background in marketing agencies or agency partnerships is a strong plus
- Strong network across D2C, e-commerce, and digital ecosystem
- Commercially driven with a closure-first mindset
- Someone who doesn’t just pitch—but converts conversations into deals
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess market trends, partnership performance, and drive data-based decision-making
- Expertise in establishing and nurturing Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in Sales and negotiation with proven ability to close deals
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities to handle multiple stakeholders effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in startups, business development, or a similar domain is a plus
