Brand Manager with an agency background drives brand growth by applying agency-style strategic thinking, creative oversight, and high-stakes campaign management to in-house or client brands. They ensure consistent messaging across all channels, conduct competitor analysis, and use data-driven insights to improve brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Campaign Development: Create, execute, and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns (digital, print, broadcast) with a focus on high-impact, creative, and on-brand messaging.
- Brand Stewardship: Serve as the brand guardian, ensuring all creative assets, social media, and communications maintain a unified voice and brand integrity.
- Agency Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external creative or media agencies, briefing them on initiatives and overseeing deliverables to ensure quality.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform deep market research and competitor analysis to derive insights, using tools like Google Analytics to report on brand health and campaign performance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to launch products and align marketing initiatives with sales goals.
- Budget Management: Manage, forecast, and reconcile marketing budgets to maximize ROI.
Key Requirements (Agency Background Focus)
- Experience: Proven experience (5-7+ years) within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency.
- Portfolio/Results: A track record of developing successful campaigns and managing client expectations.
- Skills: Exceptional storytelling, strategic thinking, project management, and proficiency in digital marketing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
