Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Brand Guide Studio WordPress Developer located in Kolkata. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and offer optimal user experiences. The WordPress Developer will collaborate with designers and marketing teams, troubleshoot technical issues, implement custom themes, and ensure site performance and responsiveness meet best practice standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for building and customizing WordPress websites
- Experience in WordPress theme and plugin development with a focus on user-centered design
- Ability to work with design tools and translate mockups into functional websites
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and website performance optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging and troubleshooting WordPress-related issues
- Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and e-commerce platforms
- Experience in version control systems such as Git
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Kolkata
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field is preferred
