Job details:
Brand and Social Media LeadThis role is not for a campaigns-and-content manager.
We are building the next unicorn and you would be joining it early. Eighteen months old, bootstrapped, revenue up roughly tenfold in six months, and we have never lost a client. The mission comes down to contributing to human evolution, and we are looking for the person who owns how the market meets us.
The opening problemI have owned marketing myself since the beginning. It worked. The positioning is ours, the market knows who we are, and every client we have won came through it or the founders' network. What I no longer have is time. The strategies I want to run are written and sitting there, and I am the reason they are not live.
The founder accounts, which are the front door to this company, have been run as a posting schedule rather than a craft. Content goes out on time and earns almost nothing. That is the clearest symptom of the bigger problem: nobody has taken this function off me and made it run.
Why this exists nowThe next stage needs someone experienced enough to execute it, confident enough to challenge us, and as connected to the mission as we are. Someone who reads a situation fast, adapts, and runs their lane without being managed into it. Don’t come with problems but solutions. this is the role that takes all of it off me. How we are positioned, how we show up, and how demand arrives without a founder generating it by hand.
The laneYou own positioning, brand and demand. In full:
- Positioning and messaging. How the market understands who we are and why we are the one to work with.
- Brand, including the founder brands. Aman and Zoë's public presence is a core channel, and it has to sound like us and generate conversations without us sitting inside it every day.
- Content across every channel our audience already uses.
- Demand generation across both halves of the funnel on the marketing side.
- Comms and PR. Earned attention, the report engine, the press we can stand behind.
- Events as a demand channel, from our own summit to partner and community formats.
- The measurement layer that finally tells us what a client costs us, by channel, with the payback period.
- The SDR, who you hire and manage, and who you feed with demand.
You do not own the delivery standard or the final client escalation, which sit with Zoë, our President, and thirty years of doing that properly. I am telling you what sits outside your lane because it is what I would want to know before taking the call, and because everything inside it is genuinely yours.
The mandateOwn positioning, own demand, and own the number that comes from them. Build a client acquisition engine that replaces a founder's calendar, and a brand that arrives before anyone is asked to buy.
What has to be true in twelve monthsTwelve months from your start date:
- Positioning the market recognises, working across every channel we go to market on.
- A demand engine producing a predictable flow of qualified conversations every month, traceable to specific work rather than luck.
- The founder brands generating inbound on a consistent cadence, in both founders' voices, without either of us chasing content or rewriting it.
- What a client costs us to acquire, by channel, with the payback period, replacing the honest "we do not know" we live with now.
The exact figures are mine to set with you in the room. The shape is not.
The evidence barHere is what will happen in the room, so you can decide now whether to invest the time.
I will ask you to pick one account or brand you ran personally for six months or longer, and walk it backwards from a real outcome. A booked call, a client, a paid conversion, a conversation that turned into money. Which content caused it, which hook, which format. What you tested, what died, and what you could not crack and why. If a team did it, tell me which part was yours and I will assess that part.
Then you will diagnose the founder's current personal brand and uncover the gaps you see and how to fill and grow beyond them.
What I will not read: impressions, reach, followers, engagement rate, "it went viral," or any number a team hit that you are presenting as your own.
Who should not apply- You think marketing is campaigns and content. Marketing is consumer psychology, emotion and authenticity, and the content is what falls out of getting those three right.
- You need the founders to hand you every idea and sign off every line.
- You have never worked directly with a founder and carried a number of your own.
- You measure your work in vanity metrics.
- You are looking for a job. The people I want are looking for room to use everything they have and get stretched past it.
The tradeHere is what is hard.
You get a founder who has run this himself for a decade and is still in the detail, so the standard is high and the feedback is direct. There is no brand for you to stand behind and no media budget to hide behind, so every pound of spend has to be earned with a number first. The team is around ten people, most of them early in their careers, and you will build your part of it before it starts helping you. Zoë and I have not taken a salary in eighteen months because we choose to put everything back in, and that is the commitment behind you.
What you get
A competitive salary, and an environment to grow and work with epic people.
