THE ROLE
You think in strategy and then write it yourself. You own the editorial calendar, write the briefs, and produce the content — captions, LinkedIn posts, scripts, Reddit threads, blog articles. You are the editorial brain and daily voice of the brand. This is not a social media management role. This is not a pure copywriting role. It is both — and that is what makes it interesting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategy:
– Build and own the weekly content calendar across all platforms — Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn
– Write creative briefs for shoots, campaigns, and influencer collabs
– Define the content format and cadence for brand-related organic content
– Report on content performance monthly and make strategic recommendations
Writing:
– Write captions, hooks, and Reel scripts for Instagram
– Write LinkedIn content for the company page and founder thought leadership
– Write Reddit posts and community threads — value-first, zero promo
– Write YouTube descriptions, Short scripts, and SEO-optimised titles
– Write blog articles and long-form website content
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-haves:
– Minimum 3 years of professional content and strategy experience with a strong portfolio
– You have built a content calendar from scratch — not just contributed to one
– You write differently for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Reddit — platform-blindness is a dealbreaker
– Strong LinkedIn content strategy — you understand what makes a post travel
– You have opinions about brand voice and can defend them
– Deadline discipline and the ability to build structure for others
Good to have:
– Background in health, wellness, or lifestyle content — especially anything requiring sensitive, stigma-aware writing
– Knowledge of meme culture, trending formats, and how content moves among Indian men 22–45
– SEO/AEO writing experience — integration that reads human, not algorithmic
– Familiarity with analytics — you can read numbers and ask why
