Role: Brand and Content Manager
Business: Digital Health Joint Venture (Biological E Initiative)
Reporting to: Chief Marketing Officer
Location: Hyderabad, India
Role Purpose
Shape how India discovers and engages with health and wellness by creating the online voice, identity, and narrative for the venture and building a content presence for both online and offline channels. This is a ground-up role: own every digital channel end to end, build a content engine that speaks authentically across India's many languages, regions and communities, powered by data, sharpened by AI, and brought to life through smart, resourceful partnerships with creators and influencers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and own the online voice, identity, and narrative for the venture — the tone, story, and personality that come through consistently across every digital touchpoint.
- Define and own the content strategy across both online and offline channels, grounded in performance data, keyword/search intelligence, and audience insight, with dashboards and reporting to track performance and iterate fast.
- Lead the creation of content that connects with different consumer segments across health topics, and is sensitive to regional and cultural nuances across India.
- Lead ideation, scripting, and production of content across formats (video, social, blog, web) that translates the brand's positioning into content people actually engage with.
- Manage the content calendar and publishing cadence across platforms, ensuring consistency of voice, timing, and quality.
- Manage all digital channels end-to-end — website, social media, and other online platforms — ensuring they work together as one coherent brand presence.
- Use AI tools for research, drafting, editing, repurposing, and analytics as a core part of the daily workflow to increase output quality and speed.
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with external content creators/influencers relevant to health and wellness audiences in India; brief them, manage deliverables, and track results.
- Work closely with clinical advisors, subject matter experts, and doctors to translate health and clinical information into content that's accurate, accessible, and easy for a lay audience to understand.
- Work closely with the CMO, brand, and GTM teams to ensure content supports broader go-to-market and category-building goals.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience, with meaningful time in an agency, D2C/consumer brand, or high-growth startup environment.
- Proven ability to blend strong creative instinct with data-driven decision-making, comfortable using performance metrics, keyword research, and reporting tools to sharpen ideas rather than replace them.
- Hands-on experience creating and directing content across formats including ability to write, brief, and edit.
- Experience working directly with influencers/creators involving sourcing, negotiating, briefing, and managing them.
- Experience in building brand voice, identity, or narrative for a consumer-facing product or platform.
- Comfortable working closely with clinical advisors, subject matter experts, and doctors to shape accurate, consumer-friendly health content. No clinical background required.
- Pharma, health-tech, or broader health/wellness background is a strong plus, but not necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and everyday fluency with AI tools for content workflows (e.g., generative AI for drafting/ideation, AI-assisted editing, research tools).
