Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Sales Manager role based in Mandsaur. The Branch Sales Manager will be responsible for driving branch-level business growth in affordable housing finance, including sourcing new customers, managing lead pipelines, and ensuring achievement of sales and revenue targets. The role includes supervising and mentoring the branch sales team, setting clear performance goals, and implementing sales plans aligned with regional and organizational objectives. The Branch Sales Manager will oversee customer acquisition, credit application submissions, coordination with credit and operations teams, and query resolution to ensure a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities also include monitoring portfolio quality, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, developing local market relationships with channel partners and connectors, and preparing regular sales performance reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including target achievement, pipeline management, and conversion of leads in retail or housing finance.
- Team management and leadership capabilities, with experience in supervising, coaching, and motivating sales teams to deliver consistent results.
- Customer relationship management skills, including the ability to understand customer needs, explain financial products clearly, and build long-term trust.
- Knowledge of housing finance, retail lending, or NBFC/Banking products, with familiarity in working with self-employed and low- to middle-income customer segments.
- Proficiency in basic MIS, reporting, and use of digital tools or CRM systems to track leads, productivity, and branch performance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of risk, credit, and compliance guidelines related to retail lending, and ability to ensure adherence at the branch level.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree in management, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
- Prior experience in branch sales management within housing finance, affordable housing, or retail lending will be highly beneficial.
